Cassiopeia is a specialty coffee roastery based in the Blue Mountains, NSW. Cassiopeia was established in 2006 and we now have three espresso bars and a dedicated Roastery.
We pride ourselves on sourcing, roasting and serving the best quality coffee available. Our coffee offerings change throughout the year as our focus is to continue to bring fresh crop coffees to our customers and, where we can, deal directly with the farmers.
We choose to lightly roast our coffees so you can better experience the hard work of producers and appreciate what we love about coffee.

Zac founded Cassiopeia in 2006, but under a different name. The Coffee shop was so successful that in 2010 he opted to change the name and focus of the business to be primarily on coffee.
This also gave Zac the opportunity to push the business toward roasting coffee as well as making it.
Cassiopeia is a favorite to local coffee lovers in the Blue Mountains and a growing brand further aboard.

Lachlan is our Head Roaster and a familiar face at our Katoomba bar. He's been in the industry for ten years, and says the future of specialty coffee is bright.
He was fundamental in setting up our current roasting operations, and takes pride in every kilo roasted.
Ensuring excellent quality and consistency between roasts is his main focus, showcasing our Seasonal Blend and single origins for what they are.
